"I Know It Logically… So Why Do I Still Feel the Pain?"
Have you ever asked yourself that question?
I have.
And yesterday, I asked a group of participants something similar:
“When you know something is good for you, what stops you from doing it?”
“And when you know something is bad for you, why do you still choose it?”
The truth?
We are irrational beings trying to live rational lives.
That’s it. Full stop.
You struggle to be consistent or disciplined, not because you’re lazy or incapable, but because you’re forcing logic onto something that was never created through logic.
Your patterns, perceptions, and emotional meanings were formed long before you could even consciously think. They were imprinted, absorbed, and felt.
So now, trying to solve those irrational origins with rational thoughts?
It’s like trying to see microbes with the naked eye.
You need a different lens. A different access point.
And that starts with understanding this simple truth:
You "have" a mind and a body, but you "are" not your mind and body.
Pain, guilt, sadness, fear - they often don’t make logical sense.
Because they’re not logical.
They live in the abstract, emotional, energetic layers of you.
So if you’re seeking fearless inner peace, stop trying to think your way into it.
Instead, learn to access the parts of you that don’t speak the language of logic.
That’s the first step.
