Vulnerability sometimes feels really hard, but is connection genuine without it, or are we at risk of thinking we are only liked/wanted/appreciated when we are perfect?

As psychologists, we were taught that pauses in the conversation were important and not to try to fill them. But they feel uncomfortable, right? I have been reading 'Think Like A Monk' by Jay Shetty. Interesting! Pauses, silence, and detachment... Seems 'busy' is not always a good thing. What are your thoughts?

Those who return client intake forms, pay $500 deposit and book the assessment date within the month of August 2025, will only be required to pay a balance of $1600 on the day of assessment (instead of the usual $1800).
