A beautiful testimony just came through from participants of a one on one mini couples retreat that I recently presented locally.
So thankful and grateful for the experience with Waratah!
Beginners in ta**ra and didn’t know what to expect, besides wanting to have more connection!
After 15 years in our relationship, with Waratahs guidance, we had beautiful moments of connection and seeing each other with a different light!
An energy shift for our relationship, feeling safe, connected and appreciation for one another!

One of the questions I pose to clients is ‘what do you want to experience from s*x’… ‘what drives you to want to have s*x with another?’ …. If we take or***ms out of the equation… cos you can do that on your own… and sometimes better…’what is it you are looking for when engaging with another in this realm?’…. And the answer most often is connection, wanting to feel deeply connected, wanting to feel that I matter, that I’m desired… When we focus just on or***ms… we can miss the delicious pleasure of presence… which is where true intimacy begins.

Self love is self mastery….. when we can wind back from the story that we’ve heard and played into… that you need to be soft, kind, loving and caring… for everybody else’s comfort but your own…. Which would have you forgo your boundaries… see you not speak up against injustice…. Be gaslit for asking for your barest minimum of needs to be seen and heard… let alone granted…. When you finally claim you…. Life takes on a different shine.

I love this… and yes…. I’ve created a practice over the last few years… at the end of the day when I lay me down to rest … I go back over the day and search for the glimmers… the moments … usually quite small… of genuine delight…. Sleep comes easily… and life feels magical.

The most important area of life… for many of us…. Which has the biggest impact upon our life satisfaction and overall health… and yet… we have no real education or training on how to do it well. With most people entering into therapy when things are going south…. Or indeed have been there for some time…. I’m also interested in people not just getting their relationship back to good… but how to make it a place of great… a space of thriving…. A space of growth and adventure. *xtherapy

What’s the best way you’ve been asked for consent?? My absolute favourite… is being asked… by someone I’m so obviously wanting to kiss…. If they can kiss me…. It’s such a turn on to be asked.

Are you more invested in being right… or getting along…. Are you willing to put your emotions aside… long enough to hear, listen and understand another’s perspective…. Can you get curious rather than defensive…. Communication is a skill set…. And most of us have not taken the time to learn… and so we default into well practiced… deeply wired … ways of being… no matter how well they don’t serve.

What continues to amaze me …. Is the lack of solid learning and education around one of the most important areas of life… our relationships…. I often ask my clients… when they feel they ‘should know’… who taught you?…. So we end up following some sort of patterning laid down in childhood…. As far from functional as it may have been. *xtherapy
