As an experienced Occupational Therapist with over 30 years of expertise in disability services and 5 years working in the NDIS space, I provide comprehensive support to individuals with physical conditions, neurological and degenerative conditions (such as stroke, MS, and dementia), and intellectual disabilities.
Skills and Services:
- Assistive technology and equipment prescription, including wheelchairs, electric beds, mobility equipment, kitchen aids, and more
- Minor home modifications to promote independence and accessibility
- Assistive technology assessments and reports
- Functional capacity assessments
- Ongoing intervention for capacity building, focusing on:
- Transport training
- Cooking and daily living skills
- Capacity building and independence support
Service Delivery:
I work closely with individuals, their families, and support networks to understand their unique needs and goals. Through a collaborative approach, I develop personalised plans that prioritise independence, participation, and wellbeing.
Service Area:
I service all of metropolitan Adelaide and surrounding areas up to Mount Barker, ensuring that individuals across the region have access to expert occupational therapy support.
