It’s that joyful time of the year again! 🌟 We’re inviting our clients to join The Fig Tree’s Christmas Card Making session and get creative this festive season. 💌✨

You can either:
🎨 Come to the office and make your cards here, or
🏡 Make them at home if that’s more comfortable for you.
If you’d like, you’re also welcome to bring your friends or family members along to join in the fun! 🎅💖

🎁 All materials will be provided, no cost at all to join in — just bring your creativity and festive spirit!

Happy International Day of Sign Languages! 👋

Did you know there are over 300 different sign languages used worldwide? Each is a full language with its own grammar, culture, and history.

Today, we celebrate the power of sign languages to break communication barriers and promote inclusion, understanding, and equality for all. We respectfully acknowledge the Deaf community and their contributions. Learning even a few signs can help us connect, support, and show respect. 💙

We are so excited to introduce one of our Specialist Support Coordinators and Social Workers, Jessica Chan, who brings extensive experience and proven outcomes to:
- Participants with autism spectrum disorder or other neurodivergent conditions
- Participants with psychological disability and complex mental health needs
- Participants with acquired brain injury
- Participants with intellectual disability

Dear valued participants, families, care coordinators, and support coordinators,

We are excited to introduce The Fig Trees’ Spring Activity Program for Sep-Oct 2025.

The program is designed for NDIS participants aged 5 to 17 years old, aiming to provide capacity-building activities for young people and work toward their NDIS goals while having fun with peers. Our program focuses on fun, friendship, and capacity-building, helping participants work toward their goals while enjoying amazing experiences.

We also had some celebrations and fun moments this week! We said "good luck" to our placement student who has finished their placement, and to mark the occasion, we had a high tea. We also had this amazing food art created by one of our clients, the bear pancake with ice cream fur, chocolate nose and eyes, and the apple ears were a real treat!
