We still hear this question: “Is Music Therapy actually in the NDIS?”

In short: Music Therapy can be funded under the NDIS when it’s a reasonable and necessary support for a participant. The NDIS has stated that art and music therapies continue to be available where there’s evidence they’re beneficial in the right circumstances.

At our clinic, we also keep it practical: we can talk through how Music Therapy is typically claimed under therapy supports (often within Capacity Building / Improved Daily Living).

If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch anytime!

Waitlists are never anyone’s favourite topic, but they matter, and we want to be clear and steady about what’s happening.

If you’re waiting to start with us, please know we’re working through enquiries in order and doing our best to match the right time, clinician, and location. Availability can shift week to week (school terms do that!), so we’ll keep sharing updates as things change.

Thank you for your patience, and for trusting us with something that’s important.

PS. Speech pathology appointments are available, no waitlist!

There’s a new face around Creative Therapy Adelaide, and we’re very glad about it!

Please join us in welcoming Emily to the team. The first few weeks in the clinic always includes a bit of “where do I find the calendar”, a bit of “which room is the music room again?”, and a lot of meeting families, learning routines, and settling in.

We’ll share more as Emily finds her rhythm, but for now: welcome, Emily. We’re lucky to have you!

It was a WARM January, especially when the air conditioning at the front of our building died. As always, our team tackled this challenge with humour, curiosity and creativity!

These portable units were quite cumbersome to have around, but they had a certain flair that made them quite endearing.

Thanks to our speechie Esther who was able to bring this vision to fruition. We have fresh, delicious new air con now, so it's farewell for now to our windy, portable friends 👋
