Music Therapy Remains in the NDIS!

Music therapy continues to be recognised as a funded support under the NDIS.

This means participants can keep accessing registered music therapists to support:

💬 Communication and social skills
💙 Emotional regulation and wellbeing
💪 Movement, coordination, and motor planning
🤝 Community participation and connection

We’ll keep monitoring updates and advocating for music therapy within the scheme, but for now, families can be reassured nothing has changed in how you access music therapy through your plans.

As a Preschool Boost Menu provider, we have the opportunity to share our programs as part of the Lunch and Learn Sessions for OECD Local Teams!

Our Managing Director, Natalie Oliveri, and Lead Speech Pathologist, Bec Morris, will be leading the charge.

In our first session, we will discuss our Music Therapy and Speech Pathology Consultation services, including:

- Speech Pathologist Consultation & Support

- Registered Music Therapist Consultation & Support

During the second session, we will present:

- Talk ’n’ Tunes – a 5- or 10-week Music & Speech Development Group

- Shake It Up! – a 10-week Group Music Therapy Program, with a supporting Music and Child Development Capacity Building 2-hour workshop

We are excited to share our communication-building and music-enriched programs!

We know these will make a lasting impact, well after our programs and consultations have finished and we're to happy to be able to support preschools, build knowledge and form relationships in our community 🤝😄🎶

Talk’n’Tunes Term 4 Enrolments Open + Come ‘n’ Try session!

Don’t miss out - enrolments for our next Talk’n’Tunes group (ages 3–5) are now open for Term 4, starting Week 1. Join us Tuesdays at 10AM for singing, speech, and social fun!

Do you have a budding pop star at home? We are excited to offer our Holiday Pop Group.

With enough interest, we will run two separate groups: one for ages 7 to 10, and another for ages 11 to 13.

Each session is hands-on and packed with creativity.

On Day 1, we will kick things off with a ukulele workshop followed by a fun drumming session. No previous experience is needed.

On Day 2, we will bring it all together and focus on songwriting, teamwork, and maybe even create a music video.

Possible dates and times:
Wednesday 1st October at 10am to 12pm or 1pm to 3pm
Thursday 2nd October at 10am to 12pm or 1pm to 3pm
Thursday 9th October at 10am to 12pm or 1pm to 3pm
