Sometimes A Workout is All the Therapy you Need
Hi I’m Adel - Fitness has always been a major part of my life, as a young girl I commenced Calisthenics then progressed through to Little Athletics and then Netball. Netball remained a big part of my weekly extracurricular activities up to my late teens when I ruptured my Cruciate Ligament. After surgery and rehab I continued to play on a casual basis. For a period of nearly 4 years I relocated and lived in Chicago, USA where I continued my love of fitness by attending the gym on a nightly basis enjoying Billy Blanks Tae Bo, weekend bike rides and walks along the boardwalk of Lake Michigan.
On returning to Australia I joined a local gym for a number of years then one day whilst attending my daughters swimming lessons I discovered aqua fitness. It was time for a change so took the plunge and attended an aqua cardio session at Parafield Gardens Swim School. Well the rest they say is history…….
In January 2016 I qualified as an Acquapole Level 1 Tone Instructor, I continued my studies and obtained a Cert III in Fitness and extended my qualifications to incorporate modules specific to Aquatic Fitness. I have since obtained qualifications in Acquapole Elastics, Acquapole Boxing, Acquapole Circuit Fusion, SAF Drum Vibes, Aqua Step, Aqua Seniors, Aqua Cardio, Aqua Strength, Shallow Water Applications, PABA (Parents and Babies Aqua), Punchfit and PoundPro over the past four years.
I love going to work everyday as a Fitness Instructor, structuring interesting sessions that keep participants bodies and minds in peak condition, meeting new people and assisting them to reach their personal health and fitness goals. “Sometimes A Workout is All the Therapy One Needs. As a participant in both land and aquatic fitness for over 7 years I continue enjoying all forms of fitness in addition to making a splash and maximising the properties of water to maintain my healthy lifestyle as well as others.
