SA Muslim Funeral Services SA Muslim Services Limited is registered with the ASIC and the Australian Charity and Not for profit

In 2020 some of our brothers came across families having difficulties in meeting the cost of burying their loved ones. There were times when a call for financial support rang out and as Muslims we all contributed to meeting their needs. These experiences led some of our brothers to get together and look at how we could overcome this. The initial aim is to reduced the cost but the question was how

could this be done. We came to the conclusion that as in the past when we as individuals contributed to the costs for those who could not afford it we realised that the same principle can be applied and if we all contributed as a Ummah then these costs become manageable. On 16 March 2020, SA Muslim Services Limited was registered with the ASIC and the Australian Charity and Not for profit Commission with its primary objective of reducing the cost through a membership for muslim burials.

Assalam o Alaikum Brothers & Sisters,

We wish all muslims a very blessed Ramadan!

This is the month to indulge ourselves in to self-cleansing by not just fasting but also praying, helping people in need, looking after our neighbours & community and by giving charity as much as possible to appease our creator Allah Almighty. It is a month for self-reconciliation and seek forgiveness.

This Ramadan, it is as important to remember our brothers and sisters suffering in Palestine in particular Gaza in our prayers.

May Allah accept our efforts and be pleased with us, Ameen.
Ramadan Kareem!

Assalam o Alaikum Brothers and Sisters,

Today is the Day of Arafah and a lot of the Muslims would have fast today seeking forgiveness for our sins and tomorrow Muslims around the world celebrate Eid and mark the end of Hajj.

It is that time of the year where Muslims remember the great sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (as) and Prophet Ismail (as) completely submitting to Allah's will in it's true sense and were rewarded by Allah's blessings upon them.

We, the Muslims, follow Prophet Ibrahim (as) and Prophet Ismail's (as) Sunnah to this day however, we should also absorb the essence of this great sacrifice and submit to Allah's will in its true meaning and Allah knows the best.

SAMFS family wishes our respectable members and all Muslims in Australia and around the world a very happy and joyous Eid al Adha.

Eid Mubarak !
