What We’re Looking For 👀

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability Care, or Individual Support
Medication Administration Certificate
Manual Handling Training
Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
COVID-19, Infection Control & Hand Hygiene Training
NDIS Worker Orientation Module (completed)
National Police Check
Working with Children Check (DCSI)
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Valid Driver’s Licence and Comprehensive Personal Vehicle Insurance

This amazing exhibition closes on February 27, 2026 and is an initiative of Council's Access and Inclusion Advisory Panel, highlighting and celebrating the diverse talents of people living with disabilities in our community.

What a great way to get some exercise in. Let’s just say we all left feeling a little tired but happy we got out and moved our bodies.🌟💪

Yesterday we were busy early in the kitchen and prepared some homemade burger patties loaded with vegetables and set off to Donovans where the group were on fire catching lots of fish. We than fired up the bbq and had the most delicious burgers with bbq potato chips. A great day out in the fresh air was had with lots of laughter. Connor and his support worker also braved the fresh water and went for a nice relaxing swim.💙🎣🍔🏊

In 2025 each month we decided on a theme for our tree. We than got busy coming up with craft ideas to make and decorate our tree which also included making a tree topper to suit each theme. This activity was a great way to get our participants doing activities that benefit them using fine motor skills while getting a little creative. At the end of each themed month we also celebrated with a little party which put the participant cooking skills to the test as we made party food to also go with themes. We hope you enjoy this little video of all our themes just as much as we enjoyed making them. Question is do we continue for another year??🤔
