✅ Pre DSEI mission success!

Earlier this week, our Director Maritime, Mel Slater, hosted a South Australian trade delegation visit to ADS Group and the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) alongside APC Technology, ASC, ASDAM, Axiom, BAE, Century Engineering, Consunet, Daronmont, DTC, Flinders University, Hendon, PMB Defence, Praetorian, Pyne and Partners, Rowlands Asset Services, SAGE Group, Starke, Uni SA.

It has been a fantastic opportunity to strengthen relationships between South Australia and the UK, allowing us to explore potential opportunities and network with UK industry counterparts.

Next stop is the DSEI conference, held from 9-12 September. We look forward to delivering a strong South Australian presence and reinforcing the ’s reputation as a key partner in the AUKUS alliance.

The pre-DSEI activity is in full swing!

This week, the Minister for Defence and Space Industries, the Hon Stephen Mullighan MP and our Chief Executive, Matt Opie joined industry leaders at the Australian British Defence Catalyst event in London.

It was a fantastic opportunity to highlight South Australia’s strategic role in AUKUS Pillar I, while engaging in meaningful discussions around accelerating advanced capability and strengthening international collaboration. 🤝

In collaboration with the Office of the Agent General, Defence SA was proud to support this event.

We look forward to continuing these conversations and showcasing our state’s world-class defence capabilities on the global stage at DSEI UK next week.

Through this program, Aurecon is set provide project management services for construction, maintenance and consultancy projects across Australia’s Defence Estate, supporting operational readiness across the country.

This appointment further strengthens Aurecon’s partnership with Defence, which spans more than 60 years.

🤝 South Australian defence companies are strengthening ties with the UK ahead of DSEI in London next week.

The strategic pre-event trade mission is an opportunity for local industry to showcase their strengths in submarine capability and build key partnerships to support AUKUS Pillar I.

Following this week's trade mission, from 9-12 September, more than 50 South Australian companies and research organisations will take to the global stage at DSEI, with the event attracting more than 45,000 attendees from over 90 countries.
