🪩 We're partnering with Vibrant Care Australia to hold monthly Disco Vibes events! We invite residents aged 18+ with a disability to join us for a fun dance party.

📆 Wednesday 15 October, 19 November and 17 December 2025
🕥 10:30 am - 1:30 pm
📍 Campbelltown Memorial Oval
🎫 Tickets $7 (carers are free)

Whether people like to get up and boogie, sit back and enjoy the atmosphere or join in on a sing-a-long, there is something for everybody.

Vibrant Disco 🪩

We had an absolute blast at our recent Disco Vibes Rock n' Roll 50s theme! 🤩 The dance floor was greased lightning fast as we got our groove on with friends and community members! 💃🕺

Huge thanks to Campbelltown Council for partnering with us to make this day possible! 🙏 We're so grateful for the vibrant community members and groups that support us every step of the way. 💕

Shoutout to our amazing DJ Al for spinning the tunes and getting everyone on their feet! 🎶 And to all our rockstars we had the best time dancing, singing, and rocking out together! Thanks to everyone who made it a day to remember! 🎉

Royal Adelaide Show & Super Carnival vibes 🎉🌳! We had an absolute blast at the show and carnival with our group! 🐰🐓 The animals were a hit, the police band's performance was awesome, and who could resist the thrill of rides, pavilion tastings and live entertainment. 🎠 With show bags, fairy floss, and snacking on Dagwood dogs 👌. Vibrant Days 🌈

We've been having an absolute blast! 🎉 From getting creative with crafting, scrapbooking, and diamond arts, to exploring beautiful parks and walking trails, there's never a dull moment! 🌳 We've also been catching up with friends over cuppas and socialising, practicing life skills with fun shopping trips 🛍️, grooving to Zumba beats, and cooking up a storm in the kitchen 🍳. And that's not all - we've even been lacing up our gloves for some fun boxing days! 🥊 It's been an amazing time, and we're so grateful to share these experiences with our wonderful community! 💕 What have you been up to? Vibrant Parks 🌈

We love visiting Yitpi Yartapuultiku Playground in Port Adelaide! 🌳❤️ We've been here a few times now, and it's a favourite spot for fun and adventure. 😊 This beautiful playground, which means 'Soul of Port Adelaide' in Kaurna language, offers a unique blend of Aboriginal culture, stunning natural environment, and exciting opportunities for movement and exploring nature.🌟

Our participants have a blast with chasy, swinging on the swings, climbing on the equipment, and watching the pelicans and bird life by the water. They also enjoy admiring the big screen in the centre that showcases Dreamtime stories and other cultural displays. 🌳👍🖤💛❤️

We're so grateful to have this amazing destination in our backyard! 🌟

Disco Vibes 🪩

Magic happens when we dance! ✨ 🕺💃 We had an absolute blast at our Characters themed disco, and one of the highlights of the day was our special guest, Mickey Mouse! 🖤❤️Our participants had an amazing time dancing, singing, socialising and taking photos with the iconic character. 👑💕 A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, to our incredible Vibrant Crew & VIP’s for making it happen, and to Campbelltown Council for their partnership. We can't wait for the next Disco Vibes adventure!

Vibrant Days 🌈

We're thrilled to share some highlights from our recent adventures! 🌞 Our participants had an amazing time exploring the Evelyn Roth exhibition at Port Adelaide as part of SALA, featuring giant inflatables and eco-themed art. 🌈💚 One of the highlights of the day was meeting the incredible Evelyn Roth herself! Some of our participants had the chance to chat with her and learn more about her inspiring work. We're so grateful for experiences like these that spark creativity and curiosity.

Another fantastic project from the City of Playford showcasing community, diversity and inclusion. 💜

🙌💜 We need your help, Playford! 🌟

📸 Picture This: Inclusion 📸

We’re building a photo library that celebrates the people of Playford – 🌏 people with disability, carers, 🙌 volunteers, 🤝 support workers, 👩‍💼 council staff and 👨‍👩‍👧 families.

These images will appear in:
✔️ Easy Read council documents (like our Disability Access and Inclusion Plan) 📖
✔️ Flyers, newsletters and programs 📰
✔️ Websites and social media 💻📱

We’ll also capture simple photos for Easy Read symbols – things like ✅ yes, ❌ no, 🏘️ community, 👐 support and 💬 feedback – featuring local people of all ages, cultures and abilities.

📅 Photo sessions are happening over the next two weeks at venues across Playford.
✅ Photos are taken respectfully 💜
✅ You decide how your images are used ✍️
✅ Consent forms and support provided 🧾
