Elevate Entrepreneurs is a 10-week online program designed to help young people aged 12–18 build practical life and business skills, increase confidence, find purpose in the community and discover clear direction.

Students learn:
• business fundamentals
• pricing and simple budgeting for business and for life
• customer thinking and marketing skills
• independence and resilience
• why economic participation is valuable
• self-presentation skills and self-confidence

Suitable for youth who are home-schooled, engaged in tailored learning programs or looking for a path into self-employment.

Commercial leasing operates primarily under contract law.

As the only governing body, The SA Small Business Commissioner's Office can assist in some cases, but not all, which means if they can not assist in your matter - the financial burden may lay with you as the tenant. And litigation is costly.

Tenant protections differ significantly from residential leasing.

In practice, this means:
– Financial obligations extend beyond base rent
– Personal guarantees can expose directors personally
– Disputes may require privately funded legal action
– Exit pathways can be complex and costly

Before signing, due diligence is essential.

This trauma-aware empowerment workshop supports participants to process disruption, reclaim identity and convert hardship into forward momentum.

In this 3-hour workshop, participants will:

👌 Safely name and process personal setbacks or losses
👌 Extract lessons that restore agency and clarity
👌Rewrite their personal narrative from shame or survival into strength
👌Identify and activate new strengths developed through adversity
👌 Be equipt with the tools to build a practical 90-day action plan with clear goals, boundaries, and behaviours.

Hello,

I'm posting on behalf of Chris Smith, who is organising an important community fundraising event on 20 December at his local baseball club in Adelaide to raise awareness and funds to help end violence against women and children.

Many of you may know Chris’s story. His wife, Julie Seed, was tragically murdered inside a Plympton real estate office - a loss that shattered his family and shook our community.

Chris is now raising their two daughters on his own, and despite everything he has endured, he is committed to turning his pain into purpose by helping prevent other families from facing the same heartbreak.

For this upcoming event, we are kindly seeking donations to be raffled off of any size - from anyone who is able to contribute.

Whether it’s small items, gift vouchers or anything that can help create a strong community presence - every single contribution makes a difference.

Often, it’s the smallest gestures donated from the kindest hearts that have the biggest impact.
