Who wants CHEAP and easy stress relief!
Anyone who has known me for the last decade knows that usually - Monday to Friday I would be in the gym - lifting heavy. minimum 60 minutes and up to 2 hours.
I used to also train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu religiously, first at at South Coast BJJ & MMA and then until a labral tear and a hip impingement made it impossible to train without pain. Anyone who knows BJJ - it's all in the hips!
So what did I do?
I started walking. I chose home calisthenics and kettlebell workouts.
Result - Clarity. Calm. Racing thoughts gone. Vitality is BACK BABY!
Oh and yes, as a result I have dropped weight. Some muscle (minimal) but mostly bodyfat.
I changed my dietary intake to compliment the change. Removed toxins, Incorporated frequency medicine and meditation.
My body had been in adrenal-overdrive for years. High cortisol levels made it feel like I was getting nowhere with my health goals.
So I stopped. Relaxed. Went back to basics. Found my baseline.
I'm almost 40 and I feel healthier and more vital than ever.
