Do you want to visit this year’s Royal Adelaide Show, but need some extra support on the day?

Our mentors and support workers are available to support you to attend the Royal Adelaide Show this year. Whether it’s to see the wood chopping, fireworks or to check out the cat and dog judging, we have staff available to help you experience it all!

Here’s a little extra information on this year’s event:

🤫 Quiet Hour: Sunday 31st, Tuesday 2nd, Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th from 9:30am - 10:30am

We are so excited to share that we are proud sponsors of Brain Injury SA’s Brain Injury Awareness Week event for 2025!

The theme for this event is: A Spotlight on TBI (traumatic brain injury), Parkinson’s and Dementia with Keynote Speaker, Associate Professor Lyndsey Collins-Praino sharing a thought-provoking presentation on her current research into brain injury, ageing, Parkinson’s and Dementia.

We are proud to support this event that not only shines a light on the different lived experiences of brain injury, with this years focus on understanding Parkinson's and Dementia better, but also to play our part in raising awareness of the prevalence of acquired brain injury – something that impacts more than 1 in 45 people.

Short-Term Accommodation (STA), also referred to as respite, is a type of support funded by the NDIS that gives participants the opportunity to stay somewhere away from their usual residence for a short period.

STA can be used as an opportunity to build independence and work on your personal NDIS goals, or for when your support network needs a break from their caring role for a short period.
