Living with diabetes means paying extra attention to your feet. High blood sugar can, over time, damage nerves and blood vessels, making what seems like small foot problems become big issues very quickly. 💜Today is world autism awareness day💜

90% of Australians on the spectrum are young people (between the ages of 5-25).

30% Australians diagnosed as on the autism spectrum are female.

70% of autistic individuals also have one co-occurring condition, 40% have 2 or more.

Thank you to everyone who came in today and donated and keep celebrating autism awareness month.

Last month was Ovarian Cancer Awareness month.

Ovarian cancer is Australia's most lethal female cancer with a 49% 5-year survival rate.

70% of those diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer will have a recurrence within 3 years.

Symptoms of ovarian cancer are often vague making the disease difficult to detect.

We are so honoured to be supporting such a great cause and being able to collect donations of a total of $134.85.

💚We want to thank everyone in the community that contributed to such a great cause!

Established in 1980, The Christies Guild Pharmacy has been focused on providing high levels of professional and customer service many people to the Southern Community.

Michael Wakim has been an owner for nearly 30 years and has established specialty practices in Diabetes management, support to local Mental Health clinics and clients, Aboriginal clients and significant weekly medication packing services to hundreds of local residents. We also provide a free delivery service for local community patients for medical needs.

Our Pharmacist’s are readily accessible to all and we welcome customers to speak to us about any of their health needs.

Our pharmacy was also a finalist in the Pharmacy Guild of Australia 2018 Pharmacy of the Year awards and the only representative from South Australia.
