In its ongoing effort to enhance the security and integrity of the NDIS, the NDIA is making some crucial updates to payment processing times.

Starting March 2024, the NDIA will introduce more rigorous checks on claims before releasing funds to combat fraud and ensure compliance. A snapshot of key changes are below:

🕒 Valid claims will now generally be processed and paid by the NDIS within 2 to 3 business days. This is a shift from the previous process where funds were generally released overnight.

📅 In some cases, payments may take up to 10 days, especially for those requiring additional review.

📑 If a claim needs a closer look, plan managers will receive a request for more information and a detailed fact sheet to guide us all through resolving any issues. Payment will not be made by the NDIS until they are satisfied with the information provided.

🛑 Please note these changes are initiated by the NDIA to protect and improve our services. My Care Planner is here to support clients and service providers through these updates but is not responsible for these changes.

When not supporting our community, Rupak finds joy in family time, engaging in Lego building sessions with his wife and children, and sports like cricket and soccer. He also enjoys delving into the world of computer programming.
