What a fantastic first day at the DAL Expo! 🤩

We’re so glad to have met so many people who were interested in our services, and the products made by our teams at our Enterprises across South Australia! Plus, we’ve been able to introduce people to our newest Enterprise – Adelaide Mobility!

After 5 months, the Hindmarsh team fired up the barbeque to treat our team to a well-deserved, delicious lunch!

Good food, great vibes, and even better company! We don’t need a special occasion; the teams ongoing hard work is reason enough to celebrate!

It’s a chance to create memories, have some fun, see everyone smile, not to mention get everyone together for a delicious lunch - some of our team even took the skill building opportunity by working the service line!

There's no better way to brighten up a Tuesday!

EDIT: Good news! The shop is OK, and Salvage & Save Goolwa will be reopening tomorrow!

Salvage & Save Goolwa CLOSED TODAY

Over the weekend there was a fire next door at the Fleurieu Regional Waste Authority - no one was harmed and the fire was contained to a single building thanks to the efforts of the CFS.

In the interest of public safety and the safety of our team, Salvage & Save Goolwa will be closed today, Monday the 13th of October.

Our team will determine if there has been any damage to our site, and if it is safe to do so, reopen to the public tomorrow, Tuesday the 14th of October.

Exciting news! 🤩

🛠️ Salvage & Save Windmill Hill caught the eye of Glam Adelaide!

In late September, a journalist reached out to learn more about how the team is reducing landfill waste and creating employment opportunities for people with disability. 💪

The resulting article offers a great overview of Salvage & Save’s inspiring initiatives, with one simple piece of advice: Before dumping unwanted items at the tip, donate!

Our dedicated and hard-working team have been doing their best to keep mobo on the move this year!

For the first public holiday we’ve had in 4 months, we’ll gladly let the team turn their alarms off and enjoy a well-earned long weekend!

All our Enterprises, including our Hindmarsh and Oakden sites, In-Stitches , South Coast Firewood & Gardens , and Salvage & Save Windmill Hill, Elizabeth, and Goolwa will all be closed tomorrow for the public holiday!

Our doors will reopen, and we’ll be back in action on Tuesday the 7th of October.

The siren signalling the beginning of the AFL Grand Final match is less than 24 hours away!
Over this whole week, the team at Hindmarsh have been gearing up for the excitement of the Grand Final, by donning our footy colours! 🏉

Guernsies, Beanies, Scarves, Socks, even a few flags! The team have brought their A Game in showing their love for their favourite footy teams.
