Support Coordination is one of the many services we provide at Ease Assist and we would love to introduce to the amazing Kelly 💚

Kelly is a beautiful human with a big heart and here to help people. Kelly comes from lived experience with a passion assisting people living with a Disability and has the skills to match.

Kelly is also part of our dedicated Administration team and we are stoked to have her as part of our Ease Assist Family 🐣

Today some of the Ease Assist Team marched down King William Street to Parliament House to acknowledge and celebrate a powerful milestone: 50 years of honouring and elevating Indigenous voices, culture, and resilience.

The 2025 theme, “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy” showed strong with the unity we experienced today.

It was an emotional feeling being part of the traditions and being united as one 🫱🏽‍🫲🏾

Today our team attended the NAIDOC in the NORTH gathering, a community event celebrating National NAIDOC week in Northern Adelaide 🖤💛❤️

Together, we aim to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and share the oldest, continuous living culture to build a unified and stronger community 🌿

NAIDOC in the North is about connecting and celebrating culture, sharing, education and providing opportunities to our community in one accessible and safe place. A place to form genuine partnerships and cross-cultural connections with community and Aboriginal led Organisations and share local talent, amplifying local Aboriginal voices, people and stories.

Ease Assist are proud to provide mentoring amongst our support services for those NDIS participants who require capacity-building support for day to day activities. This support helps develop skills, and confident mindsets that allow them to navigate daily life and responsibilities with greater independence 🌿

This is just another commitment of ours to providing holistic care for those that need it 💚

This month aligns with our mission to ensure the right care reaches where it’s required, and seeing that ripple through our communities keeps us going.

In a landscape as dynamic as the NDIS connection is a necessity. Building strong relationships with other providers, coordinators, and industry professionals means we share knowledge, integrity and a better understanding of how we can support participants and each other 💚

Staying up to date with legislation and sector changes is part of our responsibility, but the real magic happens at the events, through open conversations and the communities we build 🧩

What an incredible experience to attend the Grand Opening of Yitpi Yartapuultiku The Soul of Port Adelaide, a new Aboriginal Cultural Centre 🖤💛❤️

We are honored to have witnessed thousands of people share common ground embracing the area and space for all people past, present and future generations 🌱

Yipti Yartapuultiku officially opened on Sunday 1 June 2025, during National Reconciliation Week, amplifying its powerful message of unity and healing ❤️‍🩹

Ease Assist and our team, pays respect to the Kaurna people, the traditional custodians whose ancestral lands we gather on. We acknowledge the deep feelings of attachment and relationship of the Kaurna people to country and we respect and value their past, present and ongoing connection to the land cultural beliefs. We also acknowledge other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples who reside in Port Adelaide and the surrounding communities.

Bopanna and Lee-Anne from the Ease Assist Team rolled up their sleeves to volunteer with Food On The Table this month - a initiative supporting people doing it tough, including those facing homelessness 💚

We’re proud to support a great cause grounded in care, community, and real world impact. This incredible initiative provides nourishment and the strength to overcome adversity.

Food On The Table relies on food donations to feed those who need it most. A list of items they regularly need can be found on their website, with their drop-off point located in Hindmarsh, South Australia 📍
