Yesterday marked 29 years since Leabrook Place opened it's doors - coincidentally one of the first residents, now in her 99th year has just reluctantly left to receive higher care! Our residents shared the birthday with a fabulous layered sponge from Dulwich Bakery - deliciousness 💛

The June Mystery Bus Trip arranged by care and wellness coordinator Dani McKenna chose a unique spot at Sellicks Hill to visit the Nan Hai Pu Tuo Temple - female Buddha which is seen as 'The Goddess of Mercy' and said to bring peace, harmony and wealth to SA. This is the only one in the Southern Hemisphere. She is 18 metres tall and weighs approx. 350 tonne. A truly amazing site to behold. The Glenbrook
