Led by women's health physiotherapists Bree and Genevieve, this evidence-based six-week program is designed to support women at any stage of pregnancy.

Congratulations to the Kumar family, now expanded by one and already back in the Adelobs rooms for their first postnatal visit with Dr Morgan Pettman.

This important appointment marks the beginning of the “fourth trimester”, a time of physical recovery, emotional adjustment and bonding after birth. Retirement Announcement – Dr Stephen Lane

After more than 30 years of dedicated service as an Obstetrician, Gynaecologist, and Fertility Specialist, Dr Stephen Lane has retired from medical practice due to health reasons.

Dr Lane wishes to express his heartfelt thanks to all the patients who entrusted him with their care over the years, it has been a true privilege to support so many families and help bring over 6,000 babies into the world.

He also extends his gratitude to the wonderful team at Adelaide Obstetrics and Fertility, the staff and doctors at Repromed, and the many General Practitioners who referred their patients to him. A special thank you to Dr Simona Fischer and Dr Alison Munt for their support during his illness.

Dr Lane is now looking forward to spending more time with his wife and three daughters, who have been his constant source of strength and support.

When we have a newborn, we expect that our sleep will be disturbed, but poor sleep makes expecting and new parents more vulnerable to anxiety, depression and other mental health conditions.

Brooke Michell, Paediatric Sleep Psychologist from Calm Space Psychology, hosts our Antenatal Sleep Education Classes. These Classes have been designed to help you understand your child’s and your own sleep as you transition from pregnancy to parenthood.

Finding time and motivation to stay active after birth isn’t always easy, especially in the cooler months. That’s why we’re proud to offer small-group postnatal Pilates sessions to help support your recovery, strength, and overall wellbeing in the months after your baby arrives.

Led by Women’s Health Physios Bree and Gen from these sessions are designed to help you rebuild strength, improve posture, and move confidently in a supportive, expert-led environment.

Before getting started, all participants must complete a postnatal assessment with Bree and Gen at Adelobs. These appointments are claimable on most health funds with extras.
