🔐 “It’s not about being scared. It’s about being aware, prepared, and confident in your choices.”

✨ Cyber safety isn’t about fear. It’s about feeling confident and in control online, whether you're shopping, chatting, learning, or browsing.
Our new blog makes it simple:

🧠 What cyber safety is (in plain words).
🚩 The common risks to look out for.
✅ Easy steps you can take today (no tech skills needed).

Think of it like locking your front door. Just a few small habits can help keep you safe online.

🧡 Jacqueline Jayne, a cyber security expert with over 20 years of experience, guest wrote this blog to make online safety easier for everyone. She explains the tricky stuff without the tech speak. She will be sharing more helpful tips in this blog series over the next few weeks, so keep an eye out!

Last week you told us, the hardest thing to use is… apps on your phone 📱
You’re not alone. Tiny buttons, confusing settings and pop-ups everywhere it can be a lot.

So today we’re sharing a few simple tips for using apps on an iPhone. Nothing technical, just small ways to make things feel less frustrating. Got tips of your own? Or a question? Drop it in the comments. Let’s make tech feel a little more doable, together.

1. An orange background with the heading: “Find the app store”. The post explains where to find the app store on different devices: iPhone: App Store with a blue icon and white A. Samsung / Android: Google Play Store with a triangle icon. Other Android phones: AppGallery or Galaxy Store. Not sure where to look?: Try typing “App Store” or “Play Store” into your search bar. There’s an image of app icons next to a phone and a close-up of the App. Store icon. At the bottom, white text says: “Share this post ➝”

2. A dark blue background with the heading: “Using the apps on your phone”. The post gives tips for navigating apps: Home screen: Most apps open here. Look for icons or words at the top or bottom: These are menus. Tap once to open: You won’t break anything. Back button: Use arrows or swipe to go back. Need help?: Look for a “?” or “Help” section, or come back to Chooze for support. An illustration of a phone with a speech bubble is shown in the bottom right corner. At the bottom, white text says: “Share this post ➝”.
