Here are 5 simple standards to aim for:
🍎 2 serves of fruit
🥦 5 serves of veg
💧 2L water daily
🧀 2–3 calcium-rich foods
🍳 Protein at every meal

When I put focus on myself, I will grow.
When I put focus on my business, it will grow.
When I give focus to my kids, they will grow.

Leaving my kids for a few days isn’t easy—but I’m not going to feel guilty about it.

I’m showing them that it’s okay to have dreams. That ambition and parenthood aren’t mutually exclusive. That working hard and taking opportunities doesn’t make me less of a parent—it makes me more of myself.

Mealtimes don’t have to feel like chaos 💗 Kids thrive on consistency, and a simple pre-meal routine can set everyone up for success.

In our home it’s as simple as:
👉🏼 10 min warning before dinner
👉🏼 Wash hands + set the table together
👉🏼 Then we sit down and begin as a family

Small changes like these really do create calmer mealtimes. Try it this week and let me know how it goes, I’d love to hear what works in your home too! ✨

This week marks 8 years since one of the most life-changing periods in my adult life.

With a family history of melanoma, I’ve always taken my skin checks seriously — they’re part of my routine twice a year.

But 8 years ago, something shifted.
One morning, I woke up with an itchy spot on my upper back — completely out of nowhere.
At the same time, I noticed a mole on my left thigh had gone from a perfect circle to a weird paint splodge.

Waitlists were long, but my gut was screaming that something wasn’t right.

I was working with community nurses at the time, so I asked around for recommendations — and thankfully managed to get in with a dermatologist within 3 weeks.

She looked me over and said the two spots were probably fine.
But I pushed for a biopsy anyway.

A few days later, she called me while I was driving.
I had to pull over.

It was melanoma.

Within days, I was back in her office having the wound reopened to remove more tissue and check for spread to my lymph nodes.

To this day, it makes me sick to think of what could’ve happened if I hadn’t advocated for myself.

Next month, I’m having another three moles removed for similar symptoms — and I’m hoping they leave only scars. I’ll take scars over the alternative any day.

This is your reminder:
✨ Trust your gut.
✨ Know your skin.
✨ Push for answers — even if someone says “you’re fine.”

Put your health at the top of your priority list. It can change in an instant.
