Something I’ve come to realise through my contemplation of the Gene Keys is how deeply our sense of self-worth affects our ability to receive. When we don’t feel worthy, receiving never feels clean. There’s always an invisible ledger running in the background.
If someone gives to us, we feel like we owe them. If they haven’t shown up for us, we subtly withhold our support. And we do this because love and kindness start to feel conditional when self-worth is missing.
What’s shifted for me is seeing that true prosperity isn’t about keeping score. It’s about allowing the natural flow of giving and receiving.
When we genuinely feel worthy of receiving, we can receive without guilt, without shame, without needing to immediately give something back to justify it. From that place, generosity becomes natural rather than strategic.
Generosity can be incredibly simple. Giving up your seat on a train. Offering kindness without needing recognition.
Letting life support you without questioning whether you’ve earned it.
And the feeling you get when you know — without needing thanks — that what you did genuinely mattered to another person… that’s the reward.
That’s what makes life feel abundant. That’s what allows prosperity to flow.
The Gene Keys have become my pathway for gently uncovering and healing the self-worth stories I didn’t even know I was living from. If you’re curious about where your self-worth patterns are quietly shaping your life, the Gene Keys are a powerful place to explore.
