This week is Perinatal Mental Health Week 2024.

"We're here, a community that cares"

The road to parenthood can be both beautiful and challenging. This year's campaign highlights the importance of perinatal mental health and the virtual role community support plays in nurturing expectant parents. This week brings awareness and education around perinatal mental health.

1 in 5 new mums and 1 in 10 new dads or non-birthing parents experience perinatal anxiety or depression. If you need support for yourself or a loved one, then our community is here for you.

The Nappy Collective's research shows around 1 in 10 families don't have enough nappies to change their children as often as needed to prevent infections and discomfort. Known as
'nappy stress', this can mean families are faced with the difficult decision to cut back on other essentials so that they can afford nappies, or try to make their limited supply last as long as possible, meaning little ones are left in soiled nappies for too long. With the rising cost of living, more & more families are facing these challenges.
The Nappy Collective's mission is to help vulnerable families access much needed nappies.

Help us to collect new and leftover disposable nappies from communities which are then given to local families in crisis via our Community Partners.

Treasure Boxes is a South Australian children's not- for -profit organisation, who provide vital essentials to babies, children and teens living in disadvantage in our community.
