This year has been an adventure of change for me.. I haven’t been teaching for a lot of reasons, mostly because of family commitments.. But I have also been patiently waiting for the right space to hold practice (which Is still in motion)

BUT, something exciting is in the works..

Becoming a mother, I could never seem to find a balance.. it seemed normal to prioritise the needs of my family before my own.. & I would wonder why after all my sacrifice, everyone still seemed so unhappy & unfulfilled.

I now realise that’s because I was running on empty & I got lost in the midst of motherhood & people pleasing.

It wasn’t until I started to put MY needs first that I began to find myself again..
& in the result my family didn’t go without or get left behind..
They were more happy & fulfilled because I had more space and energy to give!

Putting YOURSELF first isn’t selfish.
In order to fill the cups of those around you, you must keep your cup full so you have plenty to go around 🦋
