Unihealth Playford is now accepting new patients for COVID-19 vaccinations for AstraZeneca and Comirnaty (Pfizer).
Please be aware that new patients booking for the AstraZeneca vaccine who have never attended Unihealth Playford previously will need to bring in an updated health summary from their regular GP. This is not necessary for Pfizer.

Influenza vaccinations are now available at Unihealth Playford!
Both private and government funded vaccines are available and we are ready to begin taking bookings.

COVID-19 VACCINES ARE NOW AVAILABLE AT UNIHEALTH PLAYFORD.

At this stage we are only vaccinating existing patients that attend this clinic. We will make appointments available for new patients at a later date.

The COVID vaccine clinic is for the vaccination only. Any other queries, scripts or information other than COVID related will not be addressed and a seperate consult will need to be made.

Please be aware that by SA Health directive, masks are now mandatory to be worn within any healthcare centre. If you are unable to wear a mask, except for any breathing difficulties, mental health conditions, communication with the deaf or hard of hearing community members and people aged under 12, you may be refused entry into the clinic.

We can offer you an appointment with one of our doctors via telephone if you fall into any of these categories.

If you have your own mask, please wear this when coming to an appointment but also be aware that cloth masks are not acceptable.

SA Health also require you to scan a QR code when checking in with staff for your appointment. This is to help with contact tracing if our clinic becomes a COVID-19 location.

WE ARE STILL OPEN!

We are not doing any COVID testing here at Unihealth, if you need to find any testing stations the SA Health website has all locations listed.

Some of our services may cease during this time, but the clinic will contact you to let you know.

Our girls are operating and answering all calls as best as we can, so please be patient and kind during these times.

Mental Health Awareness Week is an annual, national event that aims to improve community awareness and interest in mental health and well-being. In 2020, South Australia’s mental health week will run from 10th-17th of October.
Mental Health week is an opportunity to have conversations with your friends, family and community about mental health and well-being.
Please also be advised that you can book an appointment at Unihealth Playford on 8254 4500 with your regular GP who can refer you to other services.

If you are coming to Unihealth Playford for a face to face consultation, please remember the social and physical distancing requirements. There are signs around the clinic indicating not to touch or lean on the reception desks, and to not put your faces underneath the glass screens. We have also marked off specific areas of chairs in our waiting room to meet the 1.5 metre social distancing standard, so please do not remove these.

Please be honest when answering our criteria questions when booking your appointment, whether that be with our reception staff or via Hotdocs online appointments. If you have any symptoms (even mild), please call us on 8254 4500. Below are a list of testing stations in South Australia, be mindful of which require a referral from a GP.
