Hey everyone!
As we head into the 2023 flu season, we want to remind you how important it is to get vaccinated against the flu. Hackham Medical Centre is now offering flu shots for $15.00.
Please note that if you fall into any of the following categories, you may be eligible for a free government funded vaccine:
-All persons aged 65 years and older
-All children 6 months to less than 5 years
-All pregnant women
-All Medically At Risk persons aged 6 months and older
-People who are homeless
-All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 6 months and
older
If you do not fall into one of the above categories, we encourage you to still get vaccinated to protect yourself and those around you. Please contact us to schedule your appointment for your flu shot today!
Also, as a notice to our patients, please be advised that appointments booked specifically for flu vaccines will be bulk billed, while any other consultations other than flu vaccines will be charged as per our billing policy.
