Sports Doctors & Jones Radiology: 9.00am – 5.00pm

All other sportsmed clinic locations will be closed.

We take this time to pause and remember those who have served.

What does it take to support a world tour performance behind the scenes?

Associate physiotherapist Kimberley Hansen (Stepney and Henley Beach) was on site at Thebarton Theatre this month, providing physiotherapy services for The Next Step World Tour.

Live performance places high physical demands on the body. Having the right support on hand helps performers stay strong, manage load, and keep doing what they do best on stage.

We’re proud to see Kimberley involved in work like this, supporting performers when it matters most.

Round 1 of the Adelaide Footy League kicked off over the weekend, with sportsmed physios out supporting their clubs across the competition.

At Park 9, two of our team members found themselves on opposite sides, with Sandeep Thakur (Prince Alfred OC) and Ruth Neeves (Brighton Bombers) both taking the field as for their A Grade men’s teams.

It was a close contest, with PAOCFC coming away with a 13 point win.

Great to see our physios involved in the Amateur League footy community each weekend!

We caught up with Eddie and his team last weekend at Victoria Park, joining them for a 5 km run. Across the weekend, Eddie clocked an incredible 270 km as part of his training for his mission to run across Australia.

Eddie’s mission is to run 3,900+ km from Cottesloe Beach (WA) to Bondi Beach (NSW) to raise $1 million for families affected by childhood cancer.

For us at sportsmed, it’s about more than just running, it’s about supporting someone who is giving back to the community. Pictured here is our team providing support on the track: Owain (S&C coach), Ambrose (Podiatry) and Heath (Physio).

We’re proud to be part of Eddie’s journey, helping him in the gym and on the track. Both Heath and Ambrose will continue to provide in-person support throughout his quest.

Easter long weekend closure notice.

Please note that all sportsmed locations will be closed from 3 April to 6 April for the Easter break.

The only exception is sportsmed Physio – Stepney, which will be open on Easter Saturday, 4 April, from 8am to 1pm.
