The past 2 months have been busy with learning and development for all of us at Relate Therapy Services! 📚👩🏼‍🏫

A large group of us visited Melbourne in June for a social skills training day, Michelle and Isabella attended the full Speech Pathology Australia Conference in Adelaide, Larissa & Kaitlin completed the Identifying Developmental Language Disorder workshop, and the Speech Sound Disorders workshop by “Adventures in Speech Pathology” was also attended. In addition, Ashleigh and Nikki recently represented Relate at Uni SA’s OT Careers Fair.

All of this, in combination with a staff development morning in the office and online learning via webinars has all contributed to our ongoing commitment to life-long learning. We look forward to sharing all our new knowledge throughout our therapy sessions 😊

Happy World Voice Day!🗣️

Our individual voices are such an important part of who we are and what we do everyday.

The Speech Pathologists at Relate work with children and adults who may be experiencing difficulties using their voice - this may include hoarseness, tense and tired voice, or difficulties related to vocal fold nodules.

The Speech Pathologists also work with the client’s medical team to assess and provide intervention, in order to promote clear and functional voice for daily communication! Contact us at Relate Therapy if you’d like help with your voice😊
