More and more kids are getting burnt from fire pits and bonfires that have not been put out properly. The morning after these events, to children, the fire looks like it is out. There will be no flames, no red coals and possible not even any smoke!!

For a child, this looks as if the fire is out and no longer hot!

Embers can be hot underneath the ash and easily burn a child playing in them or walking across them.

Only way to put out is with water. SOAK IT, STIR IT, SOAK IT AGAIN!

Stroke Foundation recommends the F.A.S.T. test as an easy way to remember the most common signs of stroke. Using the F.A.S.T. test involves asking these simple questions:
• Face Check their face. Has their mouth drooped?
• Arms Can they lift both arms?
• Speech Is their speech slurred? Do they understand you?
• Time Is critical. If you see any of these signs call 000 straight away.

Currently traveling in the UK and have seen so many of these defib phone boxes! Old phone boxes that have been converted into houses for defib machines.

What an amazing idea and so great to see so many accessible defibs!

Have you seen anything similar in other countries??
