💜 This Dementia Action Week, let’s change the story.

Dementia doesn’t just affect the person with the diagnosis — it impacts their family, friends, and entire community.

Too often, people living with dementia tell us they feel abandoned by those around them. Friends drift away. Social circles shrink. People simply don’t know what to say or do — so they do nothing.

But doing nothing leads to isolation, loneliness, and stigma.

With over 433,000 Australians living with dementia and 1.7 million people involved in their care, the reality is: this touches all of us.

🚗👃 We’re Driving Awareness for Red Nose Day! 👃🚗

In support of , we’ve added a extra splash of red to our fleet — yep, our vehicles are now rocking red noses to help spread awareness and bring attention to an important cause: saving little lives as statistics shows 9 babies and young children die suddenly and unexpectedly every day

Some of our amazing clients have joined in too — proudly showing off their own red-noses. ❤️👃

Every nose counts, and every bit of awareness makes a difference. Let’s keep the momentum going — together, we can drive real change.

Who we are, where we’re going

ANFE Community Care was established in Adelaide in 1961 as Associazione Nazionale Famiglie degli Emigrati Inc. by Cavaliere Ufficiale Antonio Giordano AM, and was the first committee independent of the Italian Consulate or Australian Government to provide language and employment support to newly-arriving Italians.

ANFE received its first Australian Department of Immigration grant in the late 1980s, and soon after developed a pilot project to support young people living with intellectual disabilities and their carers, titled ‘Da Noi’, meaning ‘With Us’.

As the needs of its clients changed, so did ANFE’s mission.
