We are working hard to keep you well during this difficult time. This has meant some changes to the way we are able to provide medical care.
Appointments can now be made via Telehealth.
What is Telehealth ?
Telehealth allows all Australians to access essential health services in their home while they undergo self-isolation or quarantine, and reduce the risk of exposure to Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Telehealth can be conducted in a number of ways. The GP will call you on the phone for a consultation or a consult can be arranged via video link. ( much like skype/facetime)
A Telehealth consultation will be made :
- If you require more scripts.
- To discuss any changes in your condition.
- Advice regarding your health.
- Advice regarding your medications.
- Following up on test results .
Our nursing team will also be involved in conducting telehealth consults for chronic disease management & care planning.
We will continue to see the patients for face to face consultations in the clinic in the following circumstances:
childhood immunisations and flu vaccines;
dressings and wound care; and
face to face consults arranged with your GP during a phone consult,
