Osteopaths are university-qualified allied health professionals who take the time to listen and treat patients as a whole, not just focusing on one pain point

Osteopaths are trained in anatomy, physiology, pathology, general healthcare diagnosis and osteopathic techniques

Osteopaths are government-registered allied health practitioners

Osteopaths provide ongoing support and educational advice about lifestyle, stress management, diet or other factors that may influence a person’s pain, injury, or movement.

Not only is jaw pain very common, affecting up to 60 to 70% of the population, women are at least four times more likely to suffer from this disorder.
What may cause your jaw pain?

Pain might be caused by muscle tightness, mobility problems in the jaw or upper spine.

How may an osteo help with jaw pain?

Your osteopath will ask you about your lifestyle, medications, activities to find out more about your pain, and will examine your jaw and surrounding areas, often using their hands to feel for any problems. Your jaw pain may be related to other issues, such as headaches or earaches.
