An update on COVID-19 procedures for appointments – effective 23rd November 2021. With interstate borders open as of today & the risk of COVID-19 transmission increased, I have decided to provide appointments via telehealth only for at least the next 2 weeks. This is due to the high-risk clinical setting of the practice and requirements for N95 masks and face shields to be worn as per SA health guidelines. I believe this is the safest and most therapeutic option for myself and for my clients and will be reviewing this every two weeks, guided by SA health and vaccination rates moving closer towards 90%. Thank you for your understanding, I know this is a frustrating and uncomfortable time.

04/11/2021

Leave time:
I'll be on leave from Saturday 6th - Saturday 13th Nov and uncontactable for that time. You can contact the reception on 84100774 if required.

13/08/2021

I will be on leave from Saturday 14th-Monday 23rd August and won't be answering calls or emails during that time. You can contact the reception at Adelaide Health Care on 84100774 for anything urgent. Take care!

27/07/2021

With SA coming out of lockdown as of Wednesday 28th - Telehealth will still be the method of delivery of sessions until Friday 30th July. We will be back in person at Adelaide Health Care (wearing masks for all sessions) as of Monday 2nd August. Hoping everyone was able to feel supported over the past week.

20/07/2021

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions & lockdown from 6pm tonight, all currently booked face-to-face appointments will be conducted via telehealth (Zoom for video consults or via phone call depending on your preference). Take good care of yourself & loved ones.

Our Story

Mind-Full of Food Nutrition Counselling supports the development of internal awareness, allowing full engagement and presence in the richness of eating experiences. It is through this awareness that we can improve our relationships, thoughts, feelings and behaviours relating to food, to best improve our health, wellbeing and connection with the body.

Rhea Bergmann Non-Diet Dietitian & Psychotherapist Rhea applies the principles of Health At Every Size® (HAES®) and the Non-Diet Approach to assist her clients to respect and care for their bodies with food. The non-diet philosophy is one that is weight neutral, assisting an individual to engage in health behaviours regardless of their body weight, shape or size and shifts the focus to wellbeing rather than weight change. Rhea works with individuals and groups to develop their skills and increase their awareness of natural internal eating cues, build body trust and move away from fear-driven, restrictive & rules based eating.

Rhea is also a Psychotherapist and integrates mindfulness & compassion-based counselling therapies into a nutrition counselling setting. She holds a strong interest in mind-body health and as such, primarily sees individuals with food and nutrition concerns including: emotional eating, binge eating, body weight/shape/size pre-occupation & dissatisfaction and disordered eating, along with restrictive dieting tendencies. This approach is also applicable and useful in chronic disease management to improve blood glucose, blood pressure and cholesterol parameters and in increasing dietary variety.
