Meet Blend Creative — a dynamic creative agency where powerful design meets purpose.

For over 30 years, Blend Creative has been delivering high-quality creative while creating meaningful employment opportunities for designers with disability — proving that inclusive teams produce exceptional results.

Backed by Bedford, Blend Creative partners with organisations to bring brands to life through strategy-led, high-impact design. From brand development and corporate materials to publications, packaging, signage, websites and digital strategy — they do it all, managing every project from concept through to delivery.

What sets them apart isn’t just what they create, it’s how they think.

Every project is approached with strategic foresight, ensuring your communications are clear, cohesive and built to connect with your audience. And while accessibility is a key strength, it’s part of a much broader capability — delivering creative solutions that are effective, considered and commercially aligned.

And the impact?

Every project contributes to real employment, real skills, and real opportunities — while helping your organisation deliver on its ESG commitments in a way that’s authentic and measurable.

Because great design isn’t just about how it looks. It’s about what it does, and the impact it leaves behind.

Did you know your old mattress can help create real jobs in your community?

Bounce Back Recycling is proudly backed by Bedford Group — turning what would otherwise be waste into meaningful opportunity, one mattress at a time.

Rather than ending up in landfill, each mattress is carefully taken apart by hand, with materials separated for responsible recycling. But the impact goes far beyond the environment.

🧡 For every 50 mattresses recycled, one full day of employment is created
🧡 Supporting people with disability and others facing barriers to employment
🧡 Reducing landfill and contributing to a more sustainable future

You can drop off your mattress at 301 Grand Junction Road, Ottoway, or arrange a collection via the Cobber App (link in comments).

Recycling is simple and affordable at $45 per mattress, base and ensemble, regardless of size or material.

Clean up your home, create opportunity, and make a real impact.

Behind every cleared block, maintained park, and tidy verge is a team making a real impact.

Our Bedford APG crew are proud to partner with the Hickinbotham Group, delivering essential land care across large parcels of land — from clearing and mowing to brush cutting. This work helps reduce the risk of snakes and grass fires, while keeping communities safe, accessible and looking their best.

In the lead-up to the opening of Sea Turtle Park on 14 March, our teams went above and beyond — deploying additional crews to ensure the space was presented to the highest standard. It’s this consistency, pride and attention to detail that sets our teams apart.

And it doesn’t go unnoticed.

Following the work, Michael Hickinbotham personally shared his appreciation — recognising the quality and commitment of our crews, and generously hosting a morning tea for the team on 9 April as a thank you.

Because at Bedford, it’s not just about the job — it’s about the people behind it, the communities we support, and the pride we bring to every project.

Did you know Bedford’s impact extends deep into regional South Australia — where local enterprises are creating real jobs, building real skills, and unlocking real opportunities every single day?

Across regional communities, Bedford teams are delivering high-quality services for local customers — including residential and commercial cleaning, grounds and garden maintenance, embroidery, timber production and a range of hands-on workshop services.

But what makes this truly powerful isn’t just the work itself.
It’s what that work makes possible.

It means people with disability can build independence, develop skills, and be part of their local workforce — without having to leave their community.

It means regional towns can access reliable, purpose-driven services while supporting inclusive employment.

And it means every job completed contributes to something bigger — stronger, more connected communities where everyone has a place and a purpose.

This is more than a service.
This is more than a job.

This is social enterprise creating lasting impact — right where it’s needed most 🧡

We’re pleased to share that Bedford’s Mount Gambier site has officially been secured.

We know the past period has been difficult for many in our community. Today’s announcement provides reassurance and stability for our employees, staff and families.

Most importantly — our doors remain open, jobs are secure, and our focus remains on the people who make Bedford what it is.

We thank the South Australian Government for supporting a positive outcome for Mount Gambier.

This is about community, connection and continuing the work we do together every day.

A fresh start. The same heart.

In case you missed it — our Mount Gambier Learning Hub group created a vibrant projection artwork for the Mount Gambier Fringe Festival, inspired by this year’s theme and brought to life through weeks of creativity and collaboration.

We had the chance to see it in action at the festival over the weekend, and it did not disappoint!

Seeing the piece illuminated and experienced as part of the festival atmosphere was something really special. What started as an idea in the Learning Hub has now become part of a vibrant community celebration.

We’re proud to see our clients’ work showcased in this way, contributing to something bigger and connecting with the wider community 🧡

The recent national conversation around the NDIS highlights something we see every day at Bedford.

When people are supported in the right way, they don’t just participate — they contribute.

Whether it’s through employment, skill development, or being part of a team, the right support creates opportunity, purpose, and connection.

Recent analysis from the e61 Institute reinforces this, showing increased workforce participation and improved outcomes for people with disability.

For us, it’s simple — when people are given the opportunity, they thrive.

The Mount Gambier Learning Hub has been bursting with creativity these past few weeks!

In the lead-up to this weekend’s Fringe Festival at the Cave Gardens, our Bedford artists have been busy bringing a vibrant community art piece to life. Inspired by this year’s theme Underground Unearthed, clients and support staff worked together to design The Underground Fringe — a collaborative artwork filled with detailed scenes, handcrafted bugs and flowers, and plenty of hidden surprises.

It’s been a fantastic way to build creativity, teamwork and connection, and we’re so proud of everyone who contributed. A big thank you to our talented clients, and to Louise Adams and the Fringe team for bringing this event to life for our community.

But the creativity didn’t stop there...

Our Learning Hub also took part in a hands-on workshop with Tim Goschnick, exploring the world of video architecture. Clients designed colourful projections inspired by the iconic Mount Gambier Town Hall — and you’ll be able to see these come to life after dark throughout the festival.

We can’t wait for the community to experience it all this weekend! Check out the link to the Program Guide in the comments.
