Located near the bottom of the spine and focuses on centring and connecting the physical body to the spiritual/emotional auric body 🙏 regulates the lower back/coccyx, adrenal glands, blood, skeleton, feet, knees, hips, teeth, nails, re**um and spine ❤️

Blocked sacral chakra can bring feelings of fear, depression, emotional instability, feeling overwhelmed and creatively blocked. Physical symptoms of a blocked sacral chakra can include reproduction issues, loss of libido and addictive behaviours.

Balanced sacral chakra can bring warmth, confidence and generosity and allows an individual to trust their gut and to passionately express their emotions 🧡

Located at the solar plexus - also known as our “core” or “centre” and connects the vital organs to the auric body 🙏 Regulates the pancreas, stomach, liver, spleen, gallbladder, small intestines, abdomen, sternum and back ⭐️

Blocked solar plexus chakra can manifest in physical symptoms such as digestion/gastric issues like stomach pain, nausea, ulcers and loss of appetite. Emotional manifestation of a blocked solar plexus chakra can be low self esteem, lack of purpose and feeling of “helplessness”.

A balanced solar plexus chakra allows for self confidence, self motivation and brings protection/barriers against taking on the negative energies of others 💛

Encourages us to find our inner peace, draw on and continually expand our personal power, self confidence, self worth and acceptance and to trust our gut feelings/intuition 💛🙏

Blocked heart chakra can cause inability to forgive others and move on from past hurts, detachment from emotions and can numb you from love and compassion - both giving and receiving. Stress and anxiety also can cause blockages to the heart chakra and physical manifestations of a blocked heart chakra can also be poor circulation, respiratory issues and heart and lung issues.

A balanced heart chakra allows us to feel a free flow of love and compassion, generosity and forgiveness. It nurtures and promotes our ability to give and receive love 💚

Located in the throat area and helps us with effective communication and speaking our truth & being true to ourselves 🙏 Regulates our throat, thyroid, mouth, teeth, jaw, neck, ears, arms, bronchial tubes/upper lungs, shoulders and tongue ⭐️

Blocked throat Chakra can manifest as physical symptoms such as sore throat, hearing difficulties and thyroid imbalance and a blocked throat chakra can lead to issues with creative expression and communication. It can leave us with feelings of not being heard, feeling like we aren’t speaking our truth and/or not being heard by those we are trying to speak to, creatively it can leave us feeling stifled or stuck.

A balanced throat chakra means we are comfortable to express ourselves, not afraid to speak up, effective communicators, able and unafraid to speak our truth and to set healthy boundaries that honour our own well being 🙏

Well we’re one day through lockdown and I do hope everyone is doing well and keeping safe ⭐️🙏

Since there are 7 days of lockdown and 7 chakras involved in reiki healing I thought it would be a good opportunity to explore a chakra each day, what area it relates to, how emotional and spiritual blockages can manifest as physical symptoms and what we can do to encourage/maintain balance in each chakra so that energy flow can be complete and uninterrupted for mind, body & soul alignment ✨🙏

The seven chakras comprise:
