At Adelaide Health Care we have a comprehensive health care team on the one site including highly experienced male and female general practitioners with a range of special interests, primary health care nurses, psychology and mental health social work, dietitian services, Podiatrist, Exercise Physiologist & pathology collection (Clinpath). We focus on wellness and preventative health care through

all ages and stages. Adelaide Health Care opened in 1999 as an independent association of five general practitioners. Over the years we have steadily grown and we now have a strong base of General Practitioners working at the practice. We have a number of dedicated Primary Health Care Nurses who are essential to our team approach. Our aim is to provide high quality health service to people who live, work or study in the city or nearby suburbs. In addition to the more traditional medical care of illness, we promote better health by focusing on illness prevention and improving well-being, both physically and emotionally. We aim to support patients to learn about their health and healthy living.

If you identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person and have a Medicare card, you can get a comprehensive health check every year.
This health check is important. It can help identify whether you’re at risk of illnesses or chronic conditions. If you have a chronic condition, your health check can help make sure you are getting the medication and care you need.
You can also ask your Doctor about anything you’re worried about or need help with.

We’re excited to introduce Sharon Parker, our new Physiotherapist.

Sharon has over 25 years experience in Women’s Health Physiotherapy and has worked in private practice as well as public and private hospitals. She helps women of all ages who are experiencing challenges to their pelvic health. This can be from a variety of causes such as pregnancy, recovery from birth, menopause, or as a result of other health conditions like endometriosis, bladder and bowel issues, or after gynae surgery. Sharon is passionate about helping patients who are experiencing incontinence, urgency, prolapse, and pelvic pain. She also has extensive experience working with women during their pregnancy and postnatal recovery and combine evidence-based treatment with compassionate care.

Dr. Evans is currently enrolled in the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) Program, the primary pathway for doctors training to become specialist GPs in Australia. As a highly skilled doctor, she is supported by a team of experienced supervisors and medical educators to provide the highest level of patient care.
