Our Story
Welcome to East City Chiropractic.
We are a boutique chiropractic clinic that will provide you with personalised, gentle but effective pain relief solutions in a relaxed caring environment. Book an appointment today with Dr Annette Scurrah, to discover how you can help relieve your pain, minimise stress, have faster recovery from injuries, improve your posture and optimise your health – so you can get back to living! With over 25 years of experience, you can be assured you are getting the best possible treatment to suit you.
Dr Annette Scurrah graduated as a chiropractor from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 1987. She has been the principal chiropractor and owner of East City Chiropractic since 1996. In late 2017 she moved the clinic to its current location in a heritage listed building in Rose Park (adjacent Norwood) - providing her clients with treatment in a relaxed peaceful setting with easy access and on-site parking.
Annette has a special interest in using gentle chiropractic procedures/techniques including SOT (Sacro-Occipital Technique), Activator and Impulse IQ, Applied Kinesiology, Myofascial Techniques (incorporating and including Bowen Technique), Trigger Point Therapy and Dry Needling Technique. These techniques are suitable for all ages, from the newborn to the elderly and frail, from the sports enthusiast through to the sedentary office worker.
