Single-leg strength is one of the biggest foundations for healthy, efficient running! πŸƒ

A simple single-leg squat off a step challenges control, hip stability, ankle strength, and load tolerance β€” all the things runners rely on with every step.
If you’re dealing with knee, hip, or ankle niggles, or you’re looking to build more resilient running mechanics, targeted single-leg work can make a huge difference.
As physios, we use variations like this to assess strength, guide rehab, and build confidence in movement.

Stronger on one leg = stronger on the run! πŸƒπŸŒŸ

Neck stiffness and pain are incredibly common β€” especially with desk work, driving, and training load.

We are here to help and Physio-guided management can be highly effective.

Neck pain is often related to sustained postures, reduced mobility, and under-loaded neck and upper back muscles.

Early on, gentle neck mobility and targeted stretches can help reduce tension and restore movement. From there, we can progress you through strengthening, postural control, and activity-specific exercises to improve resilience and keep symptoms from returning.

If your neck feels tight, sore, or restricted longer than it should β€” we can help!

Force testing is a powerful tool we use to guide rehab and performance β€” and ForceDecks give us objective data to do it properly πŸ“ˆ
They help identify strength asymmetries, loading strategies, and deficits that aren’t always obvious with the eye alone.

Early on, ForceDecks allow us to establish a clear baseline and assess how well you’re producing and absorbing force. From there, we use repeat testing to guide exercise progressions, track improvements, and ensure you’re ready to return to running, sport, or work with confidence.

If you want your rehab and performance decisions backed by data β€” we’ve got you covered!

Ankle instability is a frequent problem we see in athletes and runners β€” often lingering after a previous ankle injury β€” and the good news?
The right physiotherapy approach can get results!

It’s commonly linked to reduced strength around the ankle, interrupted muscle timing, and decreased joint stability.
In the early stages, we focus on improving control with stability drills and progressive strengthening to improve confidence on the ground. From there, rehab builds into higher-load strength work, change-of-direction tasks, and run-specific progressions to help your ankle tolerate the demands of running.

If your ankle feels unstable or keeps limiting your training β€” we’re here to help!
