We’ve been following the journey of nursing students at Pop-Up Health as they dive into real-world experience through the Aged Care Nursing Clinical Placements Program.

Recently, our Social Support Group brought out the cheeky strategies, wobbly towers, and plenty of laughs — proving that connection doesn’t always come easy with age, but it sure gets a lot more fun with Jenga and a few good friends 💛

Inspired by one of Pop-Up Health’s earliest clients, Les Brown, this special bus helps keep the Repat Health Precinct moving.

💙 VollieCare is currently looking for volunteers to help keep this service rolling! If you’ve got heart and a little time to give, they’d love to hear from you.

🚐 Volunteer Drivers Needed – Join Brownie’s Bus Crew! 🚐

Brownie’s Bus is a much-loved VollieCare led service that helps keep the Repat Health Precinct moving.

Named in honour of Les Brown, a cherished WWII Veteran and Repat supporter, the bus provides friendly lifts around the precinct for consumers, families, and visitors who need a hand.

We’re looking for volunteer drivers to join our wonderful team and keep this service rolling!

✨ As a driver, you’ll:
• Help people with mobility challenges get around the Repat
• Offer rides to key spots like Town Square, wards, and on-site cafés
• Lend a hand transferring personal items such as laundry between cars and wards
• Share a smile and make someone’s day just a little easier

🕙 Shifts run Monday to Friday, 10am–3pm.
