Two person 'seafood capital platter' at Pier Hotel in Port Lincoln. Oysters four ways, scallops, raw tuna, smoked salmon, prawns, salt & pepper squid, battered fish and chips. Salad bar included. Absolute heaven with an ocean view. $125.

Cheesefest 2025. Always a great day out with so may amazing cheeses and other foods to be sampled. A delicious halloumi & chicken crêpe, wine, beer & a frozen blood orange cocktail.

High quality and excellent prices on the standard, Monday to Saturday menu at Bistro 8 Dragons in Market Plaza, 72 Gouger Street. Including only $20 for this exceptional meatball and smoked sausage pasta with a poached egg and a ton of freshly grated parmesan. On top of that - on Thursdays you can buy one main meal and get the second 50% off while on Saturdays any mains purchase gets you a free entree worth $12 or under. There is just now way to overstate the amazing value for money here.

Pork belly bites appetiser at the Woodcroft Hotel, Morphett Vale. Meaty, fatty, juicy with crunchy, crispy skin. Fantastic beer food.

Before or after your book shopping or just for a drop in Script & Bean attached to Dymocks Adelaide has some extremely tasty breakfast and lunch options. Their coffee game is on point too.

An absolutely fantastic $20 pasta deal Thursday nights at Casablabla on Leigh Street. Choices of seafood, ragu and vegetarian. When it comes to my standout favourite, the seafood, the type and variety of ingredients varies based on availability. In this case I was lucky enough to get prawns, squid and fish.

While it may not be everyone's preference for a breakfast I savoured every delicious mouthful of this spring onion pancake with crab at Si Sea in the Adelaide Central Market.

East Blue Seafood are based out of NSW but keep an eye out for when they next come to Adelaide. Their lobster rolls are absolutely sensational.

$19 Kransky dog, chips and pint of Calsberg available as standard at the Southwark Hotel in Thebarton. A beautifully fat, juicy kransky with plenty of onion and mustard. Not to mention fantastic, welcoming owners and staff. Like a country pub right by the city.

Buffet breakfast for only $28 (regular price $35) for people residing or working in the Adelaide CBD or North Adelaide. Kids are $25 special, $30 regular. A huge range of cooked, cold, cereals, pastries and danishes. You can also have an omelette cooked to your specifications on request. Terrace Garden's Restaurant at The Stamford Plaza Hotel, North Terrace.
