This weeks is International Coaching Week!

Coaching has always been more than a profession to me - it’s a powerful catalyst for change.

What I love most about health and wellness coaching is witnessing that moment when someone realises they don’t have to keep pushing through, burning out, or doing it all alone. It’s the moment they reclaim their agency, reconnect with what matters, and start making space for themselves again.

When you combine that with the power of Positive Intelligence (PQ) coaching, the shift becomes even more profound.
PQ helps people build mental fitness by transforming the way they respond to pressure, rewire self-sabotaging patterns, and lead from a place of calm, confidence, and clarity.

It’s not just mindset work, it’s muscle-building for the brain.

Last week, I had the privilege of delivering a Thrive Under Pressure workshop with a group of incredible researchers and professionals at UniSA’s Centre for Cancer Biology. In their high-stakes work, mental fitness isn’t just beneficial—it’s essential for sustained performance and wellbeing.

💡 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀:

🔄 Recognising that everyone is different – Stressors and working styles vary, so resilience strategies must be personalised.
✨ Small changes can have a big impact – Simple shifts in mindset, habits, and daily practices lead to meaningful long-term resilience.
⏳ Setting boundaries for rest is non-negotiable – Without intentional recovery, the cost of overwork accumulates, leading to persistent stress.
🔍 Self-reflection is key – Understanding what helps you personally thrive under pressure builds greater clarity and control over stress responses.

What If Thriving Wasn’t Just a Goal - But a Choice?

Yesterday, I shared my why - the driving force behind Wellbeing by Design Australia and my mission to help individuals and organisations put wellbeing at the heart of how we live, work, and lead.

But thriving isn’t just about having a vision. It’s about making intentional choices - to lead with clarity, build mental fitness, and create a culture where resilience isn’t an afterthought—it’s the foundation for success.

💡 My year didn’t quite start as planned, but the upside? It gave me the time and space to reflect deeply and set powerful intentions for 2025.

This Year, I’m Committed To:
* Partnering with organisations to design thriving workplace cultures.
* Empowering teams to embed mental fitness and resilience.
* Supporting workplaces in transforming wellbeing into a strategic advantage.

On a Personal Note:
Thriving for me this year means consistency - focusing on the small, meaningful actions that create lasting impact. I’m embracing:
🌿 Mindfulness & Joy – Completing jigsaw puzzles (I’m already on my third 1,000 piece puzzle this month!).
🚶‍♀️ Movement & Nature – Daily walks and expanding my vegetable garden.
🎥 Growth & Learning – Exploring video creation, a skill I’m excited to share with you!

Thriving in 2025: My Why, My Mission, Our Year Ahead

As we step into 2025, I’m reflecting on the journey so far and the “why” that fuels everything I do at Wellbeing by Design Australia.

At the heart of my work is a simple yet transformative vision:
