Hi everyone,
Just a quick update on our little childcare situation! Unfortunately we have made the very hard decision to move our boys out of our beloved centre. Despite what the media is painting for everyone we loved our time at edge and loved the staff so deeply, it has been an amazing home away from home for all 3 of my children. But unfortunately we need childcare and we need it fast so I have secured the boys a new place as of Monday 🙌🏼 so all appointments moving forward will be per normal. I do ask for your understanding in this transition period for the boys if I need to take a phone call etc. It’s a very big change for such little people!

Dear Clients,
At 8.30pm tonight I received an email from my childcare centre who have unfortunately had to close their doors effective immediately for the following two weeks. As you can imagine this is very disruptive to working families 😣 therefore please bare with me in the coming weeks as I navigate work and juggling 3 kids at home (school holidays are upon us)

I am working as hard as I can to find alternative care in this time but unfortunately some of your appointments may be effected. I will be in contact with everyone regarding their appointments personally.

Been A LOT going on for Big man Darty lately.
Friday after a blow to the head with a shovel by another child at childcare we spent a good 5 hours in the ER with a mild concussion and pretty sore head which unfortunately had a chunk missing so no where to glue or stitch back together 🤦🏻‍♀️

And today we managed to have his surgery we were eagerly waiting on and got called in 3 months early 💪🏼

Some how the stars aligned and it was on a day off woohoo so no one missed any appointments today!
For those of you affected by Fridays emergency once again I am very sorry and if I haven’t already rebooked you I’m ready when you are!

For now I’m happy to have my boy back and quite enjoyed a quiet cuddly Darty which lasted less than 2 hours 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

So big boy Darty is having a run of bad luck and has some more surgeries coming up the poor kid 😣
Monday 7th of July I won’t be working due to one lot of surgery. I have contacted those of you booked on this day individually to rebook you.

The second surgery date is Tuesday 16th of September, however the little dude is in a little pain and is at the top of the priority list for a cancellation!!

Therefore if I get the call I will be taking the spot and getting him sorted asap.

I apologise in advance if anyones appointments get cancelled/rescheduled last minute but his health is my priority!

Thank you all for your understanding and support that you have given us during anytime the kids have been unwell or endured surgeries etc it does not go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated!

Tomorrow my partner plays his 250th game for the plympton bulldogs! How many 41 year olds do you know who are still playing footy, whom have won a best and fairest in the last 4 years and still manage a place in the best players some rounds???? He must have a brilliant massage therapist taking care of him behind the scenes 😜 CONGRATULATIONS we are super proud of you, all you’ve achieved and your dedication and commitment to not only the sport you love but your club! Huge shout out to my clients today who put up with me having a 5 year old and a 4 year old home whilst I worked. I absolutely appreciate your patience and understanding more than words can express. There were a few interruptions, some tears and some very suspicious quiet moments 🤔😂 but there were more sounds of giggles than anything. As panicked and stressed as I was hoping they wouldn’t interrupt they actually did pretty well to get through an entire 8 hours of mum working and them entertaining themselves. 💪🏼
