🏡PREPARING OUR CLIENT’S HOMES FOR SALE since 2016.

At Aged Care Counselling and Advocacy SA we are not afraid of the hard work inside and outside the homes.

Our client’s come to us through word of mouth from Financial Advisors, Aged Care Providers, Real Estate Agents and past client’s, Estate Lawyers and Enduring Powers of Attorney.

We are unique because of the gentle emotional approach we have during the time of resistance, anxiety, sadness, fear and grief. There is no rushing, but working with our client’s every step of the way.

This is a 15ft cactus that we successfully cut down while clearing a garden. 🌵 We revamp the gardens using recycled materials that is already there to minimise cost.

Kindest regards,
Bec Norton

🌸DEMENTIA DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE

I am in contact with so many people who live with Neurocognitive Disease (dementia) and occasionally I will recognise them as someone I used to work with. Doctors, Surgeons, Nurses, Lawyers, Teachers, Pilots, Psychiatrists, Artists, Writers, work colleagues and friends of my parents and years ago I realised that dementia can creep up on anyone.

For me, working with people who have dementia is about giving back to them and giving them the specialised care during their time of neurological change. Some people cannot articulate their neurological changes and some people give me so much knowledge of how their brain is functioning. They have the ability to describe to me the feeling of flicking between normal and abnormal brain function.

People living with early onset dementia often ask me what they did wrong or could they have taken better care of themselves? “Dementia Does Not Discriminate” and just like every other terminal illness that we are told to take preventative actions, dementia can effect the most healthiest people of any age.

I am so grateful for the wonderfully beautiful people who I have the privilege of working with and always acknowledging the life they once had.

“People living with dementia deserve to be treated with dignity, kindness, compassion and respect”..

Kindest regards,
