Urinary incontinence is a condition where the bladder releases urine unintentionally. It often happens during daily activities such as sneezing, laughing, walking, or even while sleeping.
In Ayurveda, this condition is linked to an imbalance in the body’s doshas—especially Vata. When Vata is disturbed, it can weaken the pelvic muscles and disrupt the natural functioning of the bladder.
Common Causes of Urinary Incontinence
● Weak pelvic floor muscles
● Aging and menopause in women
● Obesity or excess weight
● Urinary tract infections (UTI) and constipation
● Smoking and alcohol consumption
● Nerve-related disorders like Multiple Sclerosis or Parkinson’s disease

Ayurvedic Approach to Management
Ayurveda focuses on restoring balance and strengthening the body from within. By:
● Strengthening the pelvic region through specialized therapies and exercises
● Balancing the doshas with dietary corrections and lifestyle guidance
● Using time-tested herbs and remedies that support bladder control

At Lifeline Ayurvedic Herbal Clinic, our experts provide holistic and natural care to help manage urinary incontinence effectively, bringing comfort and confidence back to your daily life.

In Ayurveda, there are three fundamental energies known as doshas: vata, pitta, and kapha. These doshas are derived from the five basic elements – earth, water, fire, air, and sky – and govern all the physical and psychological functions of the body and mind. Each individual has a unique combination of these doshas, which determines their constitution or 'Prakriti'.
● Vata Dosha regulates all movement-related functions in the body and mind.
● Pitta Dosha regulates digestion, metabolism, and energy production
● Kapha Dosha regulates structure, stability, and lubrication
These Doshes are interconnected with each other. If any imbalance occurs in any of the vata, pitta, and kapha, it leads to the disbalance of the whole body.

How three doshas interconnected?
Let’s take digestion as an example to understand their interconnection:
1. Kapha’s Role (Preparation Phase)
○ Before eating, Kapha ensures lubrication and prepares the digestive system.
○ It stimulates saliva production, keeps the stomach lining moist, and prevents excessive acidity.
2. Pitta’s Role (Transformation Phase)
○ Once food enters the stomach, Pitta takes charge by secreting digestive enzymes and bile to break down the food.
○ It regulates nutrient absorption and body heat production.
3. Vata’s Role (Elimination Phase)
○ After digestion, Vata governs peristalsis (movement of food in intestines) and helps in the absorption of nutrients.
○ It also regulates the elimination of waste through excretion.
If all three doshas function properly, digestion remains smooth. However, if any of them gets imbalanced, digestive issues arise:
● Excess Vata → Causes bloating, gas, constipation, and irregular bowel movements.
● Excess Pitta → Leads to acidity, heartburn, ulcers, and inflammation.
● Excess Kapha → Causes sluggish digestion, heaviness, and weight gain.
At Lifeline Ayurvedic Herbal Clinic, we offer personalized consultations to assess your unique constitution and provide guidance on achieving optimal health through Ayurvedic principles.
Understanding your dosha can help tailor lifestyle choices, diet, and treatments to maintain balance and promote overall well-being.

Asthma can make every breath feel like a challenge. It is a respiratory condition that causes difficulty breathing. It is usually associated with allergic reactions or other forms of hypersensitivity. According to Ayurveda, the five types of Swasa Roga are Maha Swasa, Urdhva Swasa, Chinna Swasa, Kshudra Swasa, and Tamaka Swasa. These five types can cause shortness of breath, coughing, airflow obstruction, and wheezing.
✅ Common Asthma Triggers:
✅ Allergies (dust, pollen, pet dander)

✅ Weather changes
✅ Strong emotions and stress

At Lifeline Ayurvedic Herbal Clinic, our experienced practitioners use Ayurvedic herbs and special herbal formulations to support respiratory health. We provide customized herbal solutions for atopic, non-atopic, and occupational asthma, focusing on holistic care without adverse side effects.

Varicose veins occur when veins near the skin's surface become enlarged and swollen due to poor blood circulation. Normally, leg veins have valves that help push blood back to the heart. Ayurveda classifies varicose veins under Sira Vikriti (disorders of veins), which affects the head (veins) due to an imbalance in the Vata and Pitta doshas.
Symptoms You Will Face During Varicose Veins
• Bulging, twisted veins
• Leg pain & heaviness
• Swelling & inflammation
• Itching & skin changes
• Muscle cramps etc.

At Lifeline Ayurvedic Herbal Clinic, we take pride in our team of experienced Ayurvedic physicians who specialize in the care of varicose veins and venous insufficiency through time-tested holistic treatment methods. Our experts combine ancient wisdom with modern Ayurvedic research to provide personalized, effective, and herbal formulation-based solutions for your vein health.

Ayurvedic consultation

Ayurveda is the first known complete medical science of life known to mankind. It is composed of two words Ayu means Life, Veda means Knowledge. This is knowledge of life. Ayurveda is as old as Vedas, about 6000 years.

Dr Sandeep Kumar and Dr Anupam Vasudeva are fully qualified Ayurvedic consultants holding Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine And Surgery – a 5 1⁄2 year degree from India. They are the prominent members of Australasian Association of Ayurveda; with over 15 years of clinical practice, they are among the best Ayurvedic doctors in Australia and India. They asses individuals on the basis of their Body Constitution analysis and pulse diagnosis and give the best possible treatment by herbs, diet plan, lifestyle modification, yoga, meditation and Ayurvedic detoxication using traditional Ayurvedic therapies.

Ayurveda treats a whole individual instead of a single disease. So, it takes a lot of time to analyze all factors contributing ill health of a patient including involvement proportions of Vata, pita and Kapha doshas. Therefore, selection of a proper ayurvedic medicine is required for each individual with different ingredients or herbs according to involvement proportions of doshas and based on several other factors. In Ayurveda, medicines can be different even for the same disease in different people. We are expert in the field and we can definitely help you. A valuable opinion is the first step towards your ayurvedic journey that starts here with ayurvedic consultation.

Life Line Ayurvedic Herbal Clinic also provides online Ayurvedic consultation with experienced and best Ayurvedic doctors. You can email your health reports to 'info@lifelineherbal.com.au'.
