Put the fire out before it starts.
Dino shares his top strategies for preventing tricky behaviours so you can guide, not discipline.
The TLDR:
🌟Find their currency: It's not about motivating a young person through reward, it's about finding something that's intrinsically valuable to them and using that as motivation to make better choices.
🌟Identify their triggers: This doesn't mean push their boundaries - it means find the circumstance that could be triggering big behaviour. Did they sleep well last night? Have they eaten? Are they managing illness?
🌟Avoid tricky situations: Reduce exposure to environments that may amplify triggers in the moment and lead to a bigger meltdown.
