✨ Be Kind ✨
We often only see a small part of someone’s life, but we don’t always know what battles they may be facing behind the scenes.

A smile, a kind word, or even just a little patience can make a world of difference to someone’s day.

I am often an open book but there are certainly some things I have going on which I don’t share or only share a fraction of.

Kindness costs nothing — but it can mean everything.

Today is MHFA Day 💚 – a reminder that every conversation can truly make a difference.

Mental health has been an important part of my own journey. I know firsthand how powerful it can be when someone listens without judgment and creates a space where you feel safe to open up.

That’s something I carry into my work every day. My work space – whether in clinic or on location – isn’t just about massage and physical recovery. It’s a safe space where clients can come as they are, knowing they will be supported both physically and emotionally.

On MHFA Day, I’m proud to stand alongside this movement to . Because sometimes, the smallest conversation can have the biggest impact. 💚

Echunga update for those who I haven’t seen recently.

When I first started working at Echunga, I had the time and capacity to take on extra work closer to home. Since then, a few things have changed—including my daughter’s autism diagnosis late last year—which has shifted my priorities. Her needs are now my main focus.

So to be honest, I’m unsure how much longer I’ll be available to work at Echunga. I’ll keep you updated as things progress, and I truly appreciate your support and understanding

Next date - Friday 22nd August, only a few spots available.

September date is still to be confirmed.

Still have to pinch myself when I look back at how far things have come since moving my business out of home six years ago.

It’s been an incredible journey — not just over the past six years, but across 15 years in the industry. So much growth, learning, and evolution.

And I have to say, I’m loving seeing the full-colour version of my logo on items I have had printed recently — it’s a small but meaningful reminder of how far things have come from the early days.

💛 Gifting Support Where It’s Needed Most 💛

Due to a last-minute cancellation, I have an available appointment for Thursday 24th July that I’d love to gift to a student who might be doing it tough right now — maybe feeling overwhelmed, run down, or just needing a little extra care.

If you’re a regular client and know a young person (child, teen, or uni student) who could really benefit from some support — whether it’s physical tension, mental overload, or simply a safe space to breathe — please reach out. It might be a family member, friend, or someone in your circle.

This one’s on me. Because sometimes, a small gesture can make a big difference.

Loving the combination of this new face crest cushion and the FaceShields which I have been using for 5 years. Yesterday I noticed a lot less massage face lines on my clients, which is a massive win.

When it comes to the area where you put your face my top priority is always hygiene first. So having a cushion in which I can clean between clients is what I prefer.

I’m proud to share that l’ve recently completed training in Youth Mental Health First Aid - equipping me with the knowledge and confidence to support young people who may be experiencing mental health challenges.

Whether it’s in sport, school, or everyday life, our youth face pressures that can often go unnoticed. As someone who works closely with young athletes and individuals from all walks of life, I believe it’s vital to not only look after the body, but also the mind.

This course has given me the tools to:
• Recognise early signs of mental health struggles
• Offer initial support in a safe, non-
judgmental way
• Connect young people with professional
help when needed

Let’s break the stigma, start conversations, and support the next generation to thrive — not just physically, but mentally too.

Thanks for the opportunity to complete this course.

Quick dash from watching Beauty and The Beast at the theatre with my family, to the team hotel for a massage session with tonight.

I feel incredibly lucky that my kids understand my love for sports work and that they think it’s pretty cool I get to work for these teams. It certainly makes it easier when I have to love and leave them in a hurry like today.

Thanks for ongoing opportunities.

Creating Real Connections – Beyond the Massage Table

At the heart of what I do isn’t just technique, it’s connection.

Every session is an opportunity to truly listen, understand your needs, and support you on your life journey. Whether you’re an athlete chasing performance, a tradie needing relief, or someone simply seeking a moment to breathe, this space is for you.

Building trust, learning your story, and working together to achieve your goals is what turns a massage into a powerful, healing connection.

Thank you for letting me be a part of your journey.

Our Story

Renee Hennessy - Remedial Massage Therapist

I am passionate about helping my clients keep doing what they love, whether that be your day job, chosen sport or hobby.

I completed my Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2010 and I have also completed further training in Cupping Therapy and Hot Stones. Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to work with a number of elite sporting teams, including working extensively with the Adelaide Thunderbirds Netball Team and the Port Adelaide Football Club (AFL team).

I have many years experience working with people from a range of backgrounds outside the sporting arena. Ranging from Beauty Therapists to Trades people, right through to Elderly clients.
