I am so grateful for the past few weeks of teaching. Firstly, the Clinical Mindful Movement 3 day health professional training then last weekend a day of mindfulness with a diverse group from my yoga classes, clinic, past MBSR course and their friends.

Thankyou to the amazing people who attended 🙏 I am in awe of people’s capacity to be curious, open and wise.

I’ll share some of the highlights in my upcoming posts.

We are all woven together. 🙏

I love this drawing is by Anja Rozen, a 13 year old primary school student in Slovenia. She was chosen from 600,000 children around the World to create a piece of art to show what peace looks like. She is the winner of the International Plakat Miru competition.
“My drawing represents the land that binds us and unites us. Humans are woven together. If someone gives up, others fall. We are all connected to our planet and each other, but unfortunately, we are unaware of it. We are woven together. Other people weave alongside me my own story; and I weave theirs," said Anja.

I am back from a wonderful family holiday in the beautiful and culturally rich country of Japan. Feeling blessed by this opportunity and to be back in sweet Adelaide getting ready for Mindful Movement classes. 🙏

We start Mindful Movement Classes for term 1 start next week on Wednesday February 5th (9.30am - 10.30am) at the Tea Tree Gully Memorial Hall, 15 Memorial Drive, Tea Tree Gully.

Please bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and wear comfy clothing. I have extra mats if you forget yours or don’t have one

I’m so grateful to have had these opportunities over the years.

Oh my - look what I just found from 2016 at the time I presented at the APS conference in Perth.

I’m feeling a bit sad actually. Although I’ve grown in my clinical work exploring the role of mindfulness for people with pain, stress and injury, my intention to help weave mindfulness into standard physio care has been a slow journey!
