The owl knows what the fireflies heard, when listening to the whispers in the forest
The nature of nature is knowing what to know, without a word ever being spoken
There is movement, when movement is called for, without a single question of why
Nature is the eternal, internal, wisdom, that is lost on those who have grown out of touch

What is silently said, is being said for all to hear, and yet, very few ever prepare to listen
The noise of the busy mind overwhelms the senses and creates the chaos of our lives
There’s a simplicity lost, when complexities overwhelm the basic nature of natural living
It takes commitment to the quietness’s purpose to no longer be seduced by thought

The activities of the outer world are not the concern of nature, they are simply observed
What is powerful to the natural world is to live aware, aware of the coexistence, of existence
And, what is the wild thing, if not the alert awareness of all creation living in the moment
Consciousness is, after all, the wisdom of the universe being offered to the aware mind
