Falls can result in permanent disability, limit activity participation and develop a fear of falls - All of which can contribute to reducing quality of life and loss of independence/confidence.

The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare has found that 72% of people aged 15 and over with a disability do not do enough physical activity.

This compares with about 52% of those without disability. This increases the risk of chronic diseases and poor health outcomes.

TAs work under the guidance of our Neurological Physiotherapy team to assist with delivering our services. This includes manual handling, hands on treatment and delivery of exercise services. TA services are also helpful to maximise your NDIS budget!

HUR equipment utilises Pneumatic (air resistance) technology and is suitable for people of all ages and varying abilities. Our entire wheelchair accessible line has automatic loading touch screen exercise programs and equipment adjustments allowing for safe and independent use.

We love this addition to our space and think you will too!
